From 1st July 2024 the gate disposal costs at the Dargaville Transfer Station, along with the kerbside general waste and recycling bag costs are changing.
This is due to increasing costs reflected in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Central Government increases to the Landfill Waste Levy .
From 1 July price changes for kerbside bags are:
Blue general refuse bag : $4.30
Yellow recycling bag : $2.00
Dargaville Transfer station Changes :
General waste gate charge per m3 : $80.00
General Waste - Regular sized bags : $4.30
General Waste - Large bags : $7.00
Timber : $70.00
Green Waste : $34.00
